The Local's Guide to Breakfast & Brunch Near Treasure Island, FL — Our Honest Favorites

The struggle is real. CafΓ© Soleil to my house is exactly 4.2 miles. These pastries made it 4.2 miles. Barely. πŸ₯

One of the questions I get most from guests is "where should we eat?" And honestly, after 20 years of living here, I have a lot of feelings about this. πŸ˜„ This is the first installment of our ongoing local dining guide — written from the perspective of two people who have eaten their way around Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach, and beyond. These are our genuine opinions, not sponsored recommendations. Some of these places we've been going to for years. A few are newer discoveries. All of them are worth your time. We'll keep adding to this list as we find new favorites — and if YOU discover somewhere amazing that we should try, tell us in the comments! We are always on the lookout for our next great meal.

🍳 Breakfast & Brunch

CafΓ© Soleil — St. Pete Beach

πŸ“ 5501 Gulf Blvd, St. Pete Beach | cafesoleilbakery.com

I cannot say enough about this place. The French-born owner serves up pastries that will make you question every pastry you've ever eaten before — melt-in-your-mouth croissants, decadent quiches, and coffee that is genuinely outstanding. I drive past this place on my way home from my Wednesday beach workouts and it takes genuine willpower not to stop — which is probably a good thing since they're closed on Wednesdays anyway. The universe is looking out for me. πŸ˜„ When they went quiet for a while I was honestly worried they were gone for good, so I was thrilled when they reopened in a beautiful new location. There are even rumors they'll be opening for dinner soon, which I will absolutely be at. Whether you pop in just to grab a croissant to go or settle in for a mimosa and a savory sandwich, do not skip this one. It is an absolute gem. πŸ₯

La Croisette — St. Pete Beach

πŸ“ 7401 Gulf Blvd, St. Pete Beach | lacroisettestpetebeach.com

A fantastic breakfast with a lovely French flair. Order the homemade croissant with your eggs and bacon — you will not be sorry. I'll be honest with you: we tend to skip their mimosas because the wine they use isn't great, but everything else on the menu is absolutely delicious. Sometimes the best local tip is knowing what NOT to order, right? πŸ˜„ Everything else here is wonderful though and it's a lovely spot for a relaxed morning meal.

Curious Soul Bakery — Treasure Island's most beautiful breakfast spot. The flower wall gets all the attention but trust me, it's the bagels fresh from the oven that will keep you coming back. 🌸πŸ₯―

Curious Soul Bakery — Treasure Island πŸ†•

πŸ“ 250 107th Ave, Treasure Island, FL 33706 | curioussoulbakery.com

I'll be honest — Curious Soul has been on Treasure Island since last summer and it took me way too long to finally make it there for breakfast. I stopped by after my morning workout to check on Pointe Capri before a guest check-in and I am SO glad I did. The bagels had just come out of the oven and as a Jersey girl who takes these things seriously — these are the real deal. πŸ₯― The cinnamon roll cake was incredibly moist and the strawberry crumb muffin was so fresh it barely made it back to the car. This one is right here on Treasure Island so there is absolutely no excuse not to go. Add it to your morning list immediately!

Tiki Bagels — St. Pete Beach

πŸ“ 455 75th Ave, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706 | tikibagel.com

As a Jersey girl, I take my bagels very seriously — and I am happy to report that Tiki Bagels has earned my full approval. πŸ₯― This sweet little locally owned small business is just a quick walk from the Corey Avenue Sunday Market — cross Gulf Blvd at the crosswalk and you're there in minutes. We love making it part of our Sunday morning routine — browse the vendors, then grab a bacon, egg and cheese on a fresh bagel. It doesn't get more perfect than that. Support local and treat yourself — this place deserves all the love!

Foxy's CafΓ© — Treasure Island

πŸ“ 160 107th Ave, Treasure Island, FL | foxyscafefl.com

Foxy's is a true Treasure Island institution — the kind of place that has been woven into the fabric of this community for decades. Evan used to come here for dinner with his grandparents when he was a kid, and it still has that same warm, familiar energy today. For breakfast, keep an eye out for their prime rib and eggs — a uniquely Foxy's kind of morning dish — and Evan is a big fan of their eggs benedict. They also do weeknight specials that are worth checking out, including a Monday prime rib sandwich on a hoagie roll that I highly recommend. πŸ₯©

One important insider tip: don't be fooled by the parking lot signs suggesting you need to pay. Park in the marked spots — it's free for Foxy's customers. You're welcome! πŸ˜„

Stella's — Gulfport

πŸ“ 2914 Beach Blvd S, Gulfport | stellasingulfport.com

Cross the Intracoastal and treat yourself to brunch in the charming little town of Gulfport — one of our absolute favorite local day trips. Stella's is the kind of place that makes you want to linger for hours. The eggs benedict are amazing, the pancakes are light and fluffy, and they even have excellent vegan options if you have plant-based guests in your group. Sit outside if you can and watch the world go by — Gulfport has wonderful people-watching. While you're there, wander through the little shops and galleries on Beach Boulevard. It's a perfect morning. ☀️

Caddy's on the Beach — Treasure Island

πŸ“ 9000 W Gulf Blvd, Treasure Island | caddys.com

Look, I'll be honest — you're not coming to Caddy's for a life-changing culinary experience. You're coming because it is literally ON the beach, your feet are in the sand, the Gulf is right in front of you, and there is absolutely nowhere else you'd rather be at 9am. That's the magic of Caddy's breakfast and it never gets old. 🌊

When we stay at Funshine Sunset Beach, Evan and I love walking down the beach — about half a mile — and landing at Caddy's for breakfast with our toes in the sand. It's one of those simple, perfect Florida mornings that you'll remember long after you get home. After breakfast, grab a beach chair and stay a while — just make sure to tip your chair attendant! 😊

Caddy's has been a Treasure Island fixture through thick and thin — including Hurricane Helene, which hit this stretch of beach hard. They kept going through it all, operating out of a tent for nearly a year while rebuilding. That kind of resilience is exactly what makes a place a true community institution. We are so happy they're back! 🌴
